Who we are
Albert Road Evangelical Church is made up of people from all kinds of Christian background - and none!
But what we share is the common belief in the message of the cross of Jesus Christ
and how it should be at the core of everything we are and do. This is what the word "evangelical" in our name means.
We are an independent church (not tied to any denomination),
but part of a network of UK churches under the umbrella of an organisation called Rural Ministries.
We are also an entirely self-funded registered charity (no. 1147813),
managed by Trustees from our leadership team and accountable to our members.
