Harvest 2016
International Lunch
Saturday 1 October, from 12noon
What is happening?
We're opening our doors for a big lunch together! Why are we doing this? To celebrate the growing range of cultures and nationalities in our town and neighbourhood. What has a church got to do with it? We believe God loves all the nations of the world. We already have a big proportion of non-Brits in our church family, Why now? This is our harvest festival weekend, so it seemed like a good time to enjoy foods from around the world! What if I'm not from another country? You can always make something local or from your corner of the UK. Or just bring some drinks (non-alcoholic)! |
Harvest Festival
Sunday 2 October, 10.30am
Come and join us as we thank God for His wonderful creation and goodness to us. Every year He keeps the seasons turning and provides enough food to feed the world!
We invite you to bring tinned or packeted food which we will be donating to our local Foodbank - just a stones throw away on Beatrice Street. Please note: they can't accept fresh food. And check out their lists of urgently needed (and not needed!) items here. |
