Why Alpha?

We believe everyone should have a chance to explore the Christian faith, and ask any questions they want. Alpha offers exactly that, proving so popular it runs all around the globe. Millions have tried Alpha, and for many (like Bear Grylls here) it changed their lives. Maybe it is time you did?

Alpha is open to anyone and everyone. There is no pressure, no hard sell. You don't need to be a churchgoer, be christened, or know anything about the Bible. And you won't be made to sing or pray. Everyone's in the same boat.

What goes on?

Alpha happens once a week, and each time we'll look at a different question around faith. We'll do three things:

• Have a drink/brew and get to know each other,
• Watch a short film (see promo above),
• Talk over the questions it raises.

Part1 lasts just four sessions and looks at:

1. Is there more to life than this?
2. Who is Jesus?
3. Why did Jesus die?
4. How can we have faith?​​

If you don't enjoy the first week, you don't have to come back! But we're sure you will. In fact you'll probably want to continue with Part2 in March, for the remaining sessions & day away.
